FAIRY TALE was launched in 2003 by Paris based graphic design studio VIER5. FT is a bi-annual international fashion magazine with a focus on modern graphic design, conceptual photography, and contemporary typography. Typefaces are specifically developed for each issue that visualize the thematics and content of the magazine. The magazine not only aims to focus on areas of fashion, art, culture, and photography, but social themes as well. FT bases each issue around a theme that is communicated through high quality photography, innovative styling, and thought-provokingarticles. FT aims to work with other creatives that have something to say, and has collaborated with international contributors in conducting interesting interviews and articles for the magazine.Contributors have included Lewis Baltz, Roger M. Buergel, Barbara Klemm, Kengo Kuma, Walter Pfeiffer, and Kate Pierson.The FT reader is a curious individual who is interested in all aspects of creativity and forward thinking.
